You may be disappointed to know that indeed, next week at this same hour, another abrupt detour into the land of ‘actually having content’ will occur! How can I make such a bold pronoucement? Because the strip is already finished… and even now matures in a sealed vault deep beneath the Earth’s crust. You will know the time when it has ripened, a golden fruit filled with succulent humors.

Our ‘Random Update Schedule’ has been wildly successful. It has chosen this week to be the week that Reginald and the Walrus return from their lengthy incarceration, jailed by ravenous penguins in a prison made of their own hubris. No, I don’t know what that means, either. But there is a new strip. Only the whims of fate will dictate when the next will be!

Hello, and welcome to the new Completely Random Update Schedule. For the foreseeable future, RATW will be updated at random intervals determined by the whims of fate! Many times, this marks the death knell for a webcomic, but that is unlikely to be the case here. We have simply decided to embrace chaos and entropy. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Oh, poor uninitiated new reader, what are you to make of today’s strip? Ha, it is amusing to imagine that there -are- new readers. Just in case, I will point out that the Walrus purloined Reginald’s hat back in strip #42.

… and a dollar short. And a dangerous pizza. Thanks to the loyal readership for the comments on the fiftieth episode! We have a team of skilled gnomes sorting through all the letters of adulation and praise that were sent our way. As soon as they’ve finished (don’t worry, we won’t let them rest until they are done. They’re not union) we will send a personalized rubber walrus protector to each and every one of you as thanks!

Fifty stripped comicals, indeed. It is hard to believe that fifty times now, I have unleashed a whirlwind of absurdism upon the unwitting masses. How about that. To celebrate, RATW will be taking next week off! Huzzah!
